WHO ARE WE really?

We are a Newsletter ...

For SEC regulation purposes, we are a newsletter that provides non-personalized recommendations on stocks, futures and ETF’s to buy and sell. The newsletter recommendations are powered by algorithms which we and our associates developed.

...whose recommendations are automated...

A third party platform software enables the automation of the process of renting the non-customized algorithms in your own brokerage account.

...with you having complete control over your account

You are in the driver's seat and have the ability to control how and when those trades are placed in your account. We do not provide personalized services that a Financial Advisor does. Our algorithms are generic and not personalized to individual investors.

Retire-Play-Eat-Sleep

That was my goal. To retire by 40; and then spend the rest of my life playing, eating and sleeping. Maybe a bit of travelling. Getting married and having kids changed the goal to:

Save -Send Kids to College-Retire-Play-Eat-Sleep

40 came and went; the running on the treadmill continued…till I came across algorithmic trading. I can now afford to get off the treadmill. A bit of a spiritual journey a couple of years back changed the goal to…

Meditate – Retire – Play – Do Good – Eat – Sleep.

This venture is to satisfy the “Do Good” portion of my plan. Proceeds from this venture will be used for charitable purposes known and unknown. Figuring out the unknown is what my spouse and I both want to enjoy spending our “retired” life doing.

I spent most of my career in management consulting running on the treadmill doing the usual stuff: Digital Transformations, Big Data Analytics, ERP Implementations, Salesforce Implementations. My last known whereabouts on the treadmill was as a Managing Director with Accenture in Dallas.

Trading in stocks was my hobby. Analytics was a big part of my consulting career and became my passion. Algorithmic Trading was the happy marriage between the two, resulting from being disappointed with large financial advisors.

I started Algorithmic Trading as a semi-hobby, but then saw in it an opportunity to step off the treadmill. 2021 is when I will be 50 and will be officially stepping off the treadmill!!

Emilio Freire

My name is Emilio and I am the quant behind the algorithms. Originally from Spain, I am now settled in London, UK.

My story with financial trading dates back to the summer of 2016, when I randomly met a professional trader at a birthday party. Fast forward to today, that trader became a friend and Algorithmic Trading my career and passion. Life can be beautifully random sometimes, just like the financial markets, but I believe when looking back there is always a way of connecting those "dots" or events that led us to where we are now in life, very much like the hidden patterns we try to find in the markets that will hopefully lead us to profits!

I have a background in Economics and Data Science, and I am now developing trading algorithms full-time on the QuantConnect and other platforms

I majored in Economics and taught myself programming in my early 20s. Have been associated with life sciences for the past 18 years and consulted almost all the top 30 pharmaceuticals. As one grows older, you realize there is more to life that spark's your curiosity. However, to pursue other passions you first need to be financially independent.

Making money is easy, as long as you are healthy and can go to work every day. However, the harder part is making money work for you. I have learned that working harder does not necessarily equals to making more money. The key is working smarter and identifying opportunities that will generate passive income with the least amount of involvement. In short, we all need to achieve FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early)
