TROUBLE SHOOTING

Here are the links to a few of the common  errors. You will also find this content in the “Troubleshooting” section of the FAQ’s.

80% of cases: Can be resolved by T10, where you make sure your trading permissions are set up correctly.
10% of cases: Are associated with T40, where you have to make sure you have set up your account for margin.
5% of cases: Can be resolved by T30, where you may have to clear the sync filters.

T10 – I am getting error messages that the orders are not going through

T20 – I am getting error messages that the order for selling IBKR shares is not going through

T30 – My positions do not match the positions in the model account

T40 – I am getting error messages that the orders are getting rejected because of insufficient margin

T50 – How do I adjust the auto-scaling percentage. What should it be?

T60 – I still have other messages coming through

T70 – I still have money left as cash in my account. What should I do?

T80 – I have two IB accounts and I would like to link them both to the same strategy. How do I do that? 

T90 – How do I change the allocation between strategies?
