I have been getting a lot of questions on the market and the potential direction the market may take. Here is a quick and dirty video on my views on the market.
In summary, the battle in the economy is now between inflation and stagflation. If the vaccines are successful in making people spend, the economy recovers, the stock market crashes for a brief period and then goes back up again. Gold does well because of inflation.

If the new strains of COVID result in another lockdown and reduced spending, we will still have inflation, but may not have economic growth and hence Stagflation. Gold still does well, the stock market crashes “hugely”.
